Comprised of both clergy and laity, the Clergy Wellness Commission promotes the health and wellness of the clergy, their partners and families in the Diocese of California. The Commission facilitates understanding between clergy and congregations relating to the stresses of clerical life and strives to encourage appropriate care and support in the parish work place.

Our ultimate goal is to support growth and health for congregations and clergy alike, on the theory that healthy clergy make for healthy congregations, and healthy congregations make for healthy clergy.

This site has been assembled to help both clergy and their congregations to engage in a dialogue and to seek support and resources for their collective well-being.
